A resident of a Mt. Healthy, Ohio, home came to the rescue when another resident was assaulted by an intruder on Sept. 5, 2021.

The incident occurred at 2:27 a.m. that Sunday morning, when the 33-year-old intruder entered the residence through the window. The intruder, an ex-boyfriend of one of the residents, then targeted and began to attack his ex-girlfriend who was inside the home. Another resident of the home heard the commotion and armed himself. When the resident spotted the assailing intruder, he shot him.

The intruder was pronounced dead at the scene when authorities arrived. As it turned out, the intruding ex-boyfriend had open warrants out for his arrest at the time and was also the subject of prior domestic violence calls from the home. (wlwt.com, Cincinnati, Ohio., 09/16/2021)
