An individual's alleged burglary spree in Pace, Fla., came to and end when he came across an armed resident on April 20, 2022.

Police started getting multiple calls regarding break-ins just before 5 p.m. that Wednesday afternoon, when police were dispatched to track the repeat intruder. The 32-year-old intruder then began to flee from authorities, but he continued to force himself into homes along the way.

However, the man forced his way into a home where the resident was armed, and the homeowner fired several shots at the intruder. The man was eventually cornered in one of the nearby homes and arrested by authorities, charged with attempted burglary, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and several other charges.
