Armed Citizen® Today

A home invader wielding a knife with a sheath inscribed "Hail Satan" was shot and wounded by a Taylor, Texas, homeowner on May 28.

Police responded to a call late that evening from a residence, with the caller informing dispatchers that a man with a knife was attempting to enter the house. Before officers arrived, the knife-armed suspect broke into the home and was shot by the homeowner. When officers arrived, the burglar had left the house and was found lying on the front porch, suffering from a gunshot wound to his hip.

The 23-year-old suspect has been charged with burglary of a habitation and is currently hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. (Taylor Press; Taylor, Texas; 5/28/24)
