Tactical Solutions is maker of high-end aftermarket components for various rimfire classics such as Ruger’s ubiquitous 10/22 rifle, Standard Model pistol and Browning’s Buckmark pistol among others. The company is best known for its lightweight aluminum-shrouded barrel assemblies for the aforementioned pistols, often in bright, anodized colors-that can greatly reduce the overall weight of the gun. Installation is simple-particularly in the case of the Buckmark, which only requires loosening two screws and replacing the factory barrel-and, even in the case of the Ruger, which incorporates a new serialized upper subject to FFL requirements, takes just a few minutes. The company also makes its own semi-automatic rimfire rifle, its own line of suppressors and .22 Long Rifle conversion kits for Glock pistols. If you’re looking to expand the performance characteristics of your favorite plinker, these guys are a great source.
