Smith & Wesson Corp. has expanded its small-frame revolver line to include a non-laser .38 S&W Spl. +P model, the M&P Bodyguard 38.

The 5-round double-action-only revolver features a 1.875” stainless steel barrel with a lightweight, one-piece aluminum alloy upper frame—all features that render it ideal for concealed carry and personal protection. The revolver also features a gray polymer grip, a pinned, black ramp front sight, serrated ambidextrous cylinder release, a stainless steel cylinder, and smooth trigger pull.

“With a new, gray polymer grip and updated styling, the M&P Bodyguard 38 provides a great value to our customers.” said Jan Mladek, general manager of Smith & Wesson and M&P brands. MSRP is $385.
