SK Guns, a limited-edition manufacturer of custom firearms, broke ground for its new facility in St. Augustine, Fla., on Dec. 31, 2024. When complete, the new 20,000-sq.-ft., state-of-the-art building will serve at the firm’s headquarters and distribution center. The company was originally based out of Haymarket, Va., but operations moved to the Sunshine State in 2024.

“We are excited to be home here in St. John’s County,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Guns. “St. Augustine is a beautiful city with a rich culture and history. We are excited to continue our operation here in Florida and give back to our new community through our SK Gives Back initiatives.” The St. John’s County, Fla.-based facility will become home to SK Guns, as well as the SK Gives Back program. SK Gives Back is committed to working with various local 501(c)(3) non-profits and bringing an exciting slate of new philanthropic partnerships in 2025 and beyond.

Construction at the new site is scheduled to be completed in October 2025. Shortly thereafter, SK Gives Back will hold its first fundraising event in St. Augustine. The event will be held on November 7 in partnership with Kids and Clays.

SK Guns specializes in custom, limited-edition production of collectible firearms. Its team of master engravers, expert finishers, historians and master gunsmiths dedicate themselves to every detail within the SK Customs brand, producing lines of custom firearms. The company’s SK Bespoke Collection line was launched in 2022, featuring one-of-a-kind master engraved firearms for discerning enthusiasts.

The company’s most recent introduction, only last month, is a new collaboration with Agency Arms and Stan Chen Customs that features striking color casehardening. MSRP’s in the Agent Firecrest AOS 1911 pistol line starts at $2,169. Chamberings available include 9 mm Luger and .45 ACP.
