Winchester was the original maker of the U. S. Caliber. 30 carbine. During World War II, Winchester not only made the guns for the war effort, but also the ammunition. As part of its World War II Victory Series, Winchester has released. 30 carbine ammunition that replicates the original 110-gr. loading, but in packaging that looks a lot like what Winchester made from 1942 to 1945.

The ammunition is also available in a commemorative wooden box that pays tribute to both the carbine and the men who used it to defeat imperial Japan in Nazi Germany. Check out this video with American Rifleman’s Mark Keefe as he fires an original World War II carbine with the new ammunition. For more, visit winchester.com.
