CMMG didn't waste any time chambering the hottest new cartridge—Federal Premium's .224 Valkyrie—in a hot new rifle, the Mk4 DTR2, offering the long-range shooting crowd yet another viable option for sending rounds way downrange. In addition to a salt-bath nitrided 24" barrel, other features of note include a Magpul MOE pistol grip, Magpul PRS Stock, ambidextrous selector and ambidextrous charging handle, Geissele SSA trigger, SV muzzlebrake and M-Lok handguard. Receivers are a Forged 7075-T6 AL Lower and a Forged 7075-T6 AL Upper. Overall length is 44.5" and weight is 9.2 lbs.  American Rifleman’s Joe Kurtenbach had a chance to fire this cool new rifle during Industry Day at the Range 2018. Watch the video here, and visit CMMGinc.com for more.
