The Lyman Borecam is a digital borescope that, with the assistance of the included monitor, allows shooters to visually inspect their guns’ barrels for rifling and chamber damage (such as throat erosion and tool marks), as well as for fouling. Featuring a 20" rod with both a miniature camera and a light incorporated into its tip, the Borecam is compatible with firearms with bore diameters of 0.20" and greater. A button on the monitor allows images to be captured and saved to an SD card (one 128-MB card comes with the unit), for later viewing and storage on a computer. Also included with the Borecam are a memory-card reader, lens-cleaning solution, cotton swabs and a USB power cord with multiple plug adapters.
