Dillion drop-in trigger assembly

The OPAR from Dillon Rifle Co. is a drop-in trigger assembly that provides AR-15 rifles with an additional level of protection against accidental discharges.

Operating in similar fashion to the “Glock-style” blade trigger safeties employed by many modern striker-fired pistol designs, a blade that bisects the trigger shoe must first be depressed before the trigger proper will retract to trip the sear.

Available in versions with either curved or straight trigger blades, and tuned to break at either 3 lbs., 8 ozs., or 5 lbs., 8 ozs., of pressure, the single-stage OPAR exhibited minimal creep, a crisp break, zero overtravel and a short reset in our testing.

MSRP is $265. For more information, visit dillonriflecompany.com.
