Alexo Athletica Springfield Armory Readywear F

In a partnership with Alexo Athletica, Springfield Armory announced the launch of a specially curated collection of clothing designed for active people dedicated to living a lifestyle of preparedness. In particular, the line of "readywear" is designed to facilitate concealed carry when going to the gym or running, activities during which people find it difficult to keep their personal-defense firearm on their person.

"Springfield Armory is thrilled to be partnered with Alexo Athletica on this exciting, creative lifestyle project,” says Stefany Reese Toomer, Springfield Armory’s apparel design & merchandising manager. “Alexo Athletica and Springfield Armory share the same vision for creativity and quality product innovation, so it's been a natural pairing from the start. The Alexo collaboration is a natural extension of Springfield's desire to bring the principles of self-reliance and personal protection to both men and women.”

Featuring a lineup of jogging and lounge pants, as well as leggings and a line of complementary shirts and other clothing, the Alexo Athletica x Springfield Armory readywear collection is designed to ensure comfort and flexibility while still offering dedicated pockets for your self-defense gun or other tools. Each readywear pant features a patent-pending, double-pocket carry system, which provides multiple pockets for the secure carriage of a firearm, additional magazines, cellphones and other items. The pants also feature high-compression waistbands that ensure the clothing stays anchored in place, even when carrying the weight of a concealed firearm.

To ensure security and safety while carrying in readywear pants, the double pocket system is compatible with the ambidextrous Flextech pocket holster from DeSantis Holsters. A smooth interior ensures a clean draw and solid retention, while the rubber-textured exterior keeps the unit anchored firmly inside your chosen pocket.

"Something magical happens when two companies with aligned visions come together and collaborate, and that is exactly what happened with this partnership,” says Amy Robbins, CEO and co-founder of Alexo Athletica. “Working with Stefany and the Springfield team on this project has been a dream come true for a young entrepreneur like myself. This line signifies an important step in a new direction for the firearm industry as our two companies introduce this innovative line of apparel.”
