The SIG Sauer MPX-P (pistol) is a semi-automatic variant of the company’s MPX submachine gun. Chambered in 9 mm Luger, the MPX-P is a short-stroke-piston-operated pistol which features a 30-round-capacity, Lancer detachable-box magazine; iron and adjustable sights; Picatinny rail for optics, accessories and the company’s arm-bracing stock. The gun mimics features seen on today’s AR-15s—a bilateral, 90-degree two-position safety and bolt lock.
