Rock River Arms developed its XM24 Tactical rifle as dedicated precision rifle capable of swapping between two popular long-range chamberings: .308 Winchester and .338 Lapua. Barrels chambered in either caliber are mated to the proprietary receiver via a barrel-nut system that ensures alignment and proper headspacing.

Each Rock River Arms XM24 barreled action sits inside a Modular Driven Technologies ESS non-folding chassis, and barrels of either chambering measure 26" long and are machined from stainless steel, air-gauged, cryo-treated and finally nitride-finished. Also included on each XM24 is a TriggerTech Primary trigger system, as well as a 20-m.o.a. optics rail and a single-stack, five-round detachable box magazine. Rock River Arms guarantees each rifle to have an accuracy potential of 0.5 m.o.a. with premium ammunition.
