Editor’s Choice: Taurus USA Raging Hunter 10”

Taurus’ award-winning Raging Hunter double-action revolver lineup now includes a five-shot, 10.5"-barreled version chambered for the high-pressure .460 S&W Mag. cartridge.

A slim, fluted, stainless-steel barrel protrudes past the beefy 5.25"-long barrel shroud, and the company has invested in the development of a proprietary multi-port compensator locked into place using a dual-retention system. This compensator noticeably reduces the stout kick of .460 S&W to levels of felt recoil on par with some .44 Mag. revolvers.

The adjustable sight system has been upgraded with a red fiber-optic pipe up front and two green fiber-optic dots at the rear.

A removable 2.5", six-slot Picatinny rail has been added to the heavy underlug to mount bipods or other accessories. As with other .460 S&Ws, this revolver can also safely chamber and fire the less-powerful .454 Casull and .45 Colt cartridges.
