One of the themes of this year's SHOT Show has been suppressors and noise attenuating technology. American Rifleman's Joe Kurtenbach talks to Mike Pappas, director of product development for Dead Air Silencers to get the scoop on that company's 7.62 Sandman-L. The 8.9", "long" version of the Sandman provides serious noise reduction for .30-cal. rifles, and utilizes a clever quick-detach system.
