CCI A17 .17 HMR Ammunition

In conjunction with Savage Arms' release of its A17 .17 HMR semi-automatic rifle, CCI, Savage's sister company under the Vista Outdoor umbrella, has also developed a new line of .17 HMR ammunition, also called A17, to complement the new rimfire. With its delayed-blowback design, Savage's A17 solves the longstanding problem of getting .17 HMR ammunition to cycle properly in an autoloader, and CCI's A17 ammunition is optimized to feed and function flawlessly in the new Savage platform. Any .17 HRM ammunition will work in the rifle, but through special powders and careful engineering, CCI has been able to push a 17-gr. bullet to 2650 fps.—or about 100 fps faster than any other .17 HMR load currently on the market.
