In recent years, the variety of shotgun types on the market has expanded tremendously. One such design variant is the bullpup-style 12-ga., and American Tactical Imports partnered with Turkish firearm manufacturer PARS MFG to bring the Bulldog shotgun to U.S. shores.

The ATI Bulldog cuts down on overall length, thanks to its bullpup configuration. The action is located in the rear of the gun, allowing the Bulldog to maintain its non-NFA configuration of an 18.5" barrel while keeping overall length down to just 26".

This semi-automatic shotgun feeds from detachable box magazines, and the Bulldog ships with a single 5-round mag. The magazines are unique in their design, though, in that they have a Picatinny cutout on the floorplate. This allows users to mount an extra magazine on the forward accessory rail to use as a foregrip in a pinch. The fore-end also includes M-LOK attachment slots.

At the top of the ATI Bulldog is a generous length of Picatinny rail that allows for the mounting of compatible red-dot optics, and the gun ships with adjustable iron sights already mounted. An adjustable comb pad at the rear of the shotgun allows users to find a comfortable fit that provides an easy sight picture with any optic configuration.

Each ATI Bulldog shotgun is also equipped with an AR-style charging handle for easy loading, and magazines are swapped by releasing an intuitive push-button release. The Bulldog features a 3" chamber and ships with a set of three choke tubes. In addition to the 5-round magazine included with the gun, ATI also has 10-round magazines available for purchase.

The suggested retail price on that ATI Bulldog shotgun is $499.95. For more information, visit americantactical.us.
