Smith & Wesson is taking the next natural step in the evolution of its excellent M&P M2.0 pistol—it’s making them optics-ready.

The Performance Center M&P M2.0 C.O.R.E. models—Competition Optics Ready Equipment—will come from the factory with the slide pre-cut to accept a miniature red-dot optic, along with a series of adaptor plates and screws to accommodate many popular sights.

In addition, the C.O.R.E. pistols will feature tall sights, a Performance Center tuned trigger and will include a cleaning kit along with two magazines.

The guns are available chambered for 9 mm Luger or .40 S&W, with 4.25" or 5" barrels, and can be had with or without ported slides and barrels. For more information on these optic-ready handguns, visit
