XS Sights, based in Forth Worth, TX, is offering an exclusive pink colored version of its DXT2 Big Dot Tritium Night Sights through the month of October in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The company has started a "Aim for Hope" initiative to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which focuses on early detection, education and support services for those affected.

XS Sights has committed through this initiative to donating a minimum of $3,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation through the month. The co-owner of XS Sights Kellie Brunn said, "As a majority women-owned business, we are blessed to have the opportunity to support NBCF in helping women facing the cancer fight. Our family has first-hand experience with the impact of the cancer journey…and most importantly the benefit of a supportive network and the hope it provides. We are grateful to have this opportunity to support NBCF in providing resources during this life-changing experience as so many have done for our loved ones.”

The company also wants to bring awareness to women about the importance of carrying a firearm for self defense through this initiative. A Team Walther member, handgun instructor and XS Sight ambassador Michelle Waldran also said, “Starting your journey as a female gun owner or just making the decision to carry a gun for self-defense can be overwhelming and scary. The key to safe gun ownership is knowledge. Prepare yourself by acquiring safe practices, elevated situational awareness, and training. It’s a lifestyle dedication.”

For the initiative, XS Sights is offering a limited edition Pink Big Dot version of its XS DXT2 Big Dot Tritium Night Sights through the month of October. The Sight design uses a large center dot on the front sight that measures 0.188" in diameter paired with a low-profile V-notch rear sight. The front sight uses a proprietary photoluminescent glow dot that surrounds the central tritium insert to better draw the user's eye. In low-light settings, the Big Pink Dot glows white to provide some contrast from the tritium.

The XS Big Dot design uses a dot-the "I" profile sight picture, with a tritium dot on the front sight and a tritium bar in the rear, to help prevent confusion between the front and rear sights in low-light conditions. The Pink Big Dot is available for the Glock models 17, 19, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, and 45 along with the smaller  Glock 42, 43, 43X and 48. Installation of these sights may require some filing on the rear sight to fit the dovetail, and it is not recommended to use a sight press or pusher tool.

The Big Pink Dot night sights are compatible with standard Glock holsters. It will be available through opticsplanet.com and xssights.com throughout the month of October while supplies last. The tritium in the Big Pink Dot sights are backed by a 10 year no questions asked warranty as well as a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. The Big Pink Dot sight sets retail for $132.
