Models offered in the Springfield Armory XD lineup are some of the most-popular handguns sold in America, and the company enhanced its offerings in 2020 with the launch of its all-new XD-M Elite collection.

Though it retains many of the characteristics that made the XD lineup popular with consumers, the Springfield Armory XD-M Elite lineup of handguns brings a few new elements to the gun. The first is an enhanced trigger unit that provides a crisp, clean pull that's one of the best found in a polymer-frame pistol today. Other features include a U-notch sight arrangement that aids in drawing a shooter's eye to the front sight.

Other features found on the Springfield Armory XD-M Elite lineup include enhanced serrations at the front and rear of the slide, as well as improved magazine wells that create a generous funnel for fast, trouble-free reloads. The guns are also available with expanded magazines, and differentiations between the four models offered ensure that shooters can choose the configuration that best fits their needs.
