Originally in a subcompact version, Springfield Armory extended the Mod. 2 line to include a 4" service model. The Springfield XD Mod. 2 4" is a slim and ergonomic gun that features high-visibility, low-profile sights and a slim-contour frame with a three-layer textured GripZone to ensure good purchase during firing. At just two tenths of an inch wider than the industry’s slimmest single-stack polymer-frame pistols, it offers 16+1 rounds of 9 mm.

Check out this “Rifleman Review” video from a recent episode of American Rifleman TV, in which Joe Kurtenbach takes the gun downrange.
