So named due to its ability to be re-arranged in seconds into several different configurations, the Vertx A-Range Bag provides shooters with a lot of options for storing their range equipment. The sturdy 10"x12"x19" bag, built from durable Cordura Lite nylon, is essentially separated into two sections; a large, top-opening compartment is situated above what the company calls a “garage deck” storage system—two removable drawers that are accessible via a zippered side panel. The top cavity is perfect for keeping medium-size items such as hearing protection and boxed ammunition. The two bottom drawers feature mesh-bottom drawstring bags for storing used brass, loose ammunition and other small items, yet when removed, reveal a bottom compartment spacious enough for larger items. A cushioned sleeve, located opposite the garage deck, spans the length of the A-Range, and has room for at least one, and likely several, handguns. Also included are a portable six-magazine pouch and a steel lock-down cable for anchoring the bag to a secure object. Price: $190. Contact Vertx, (513) 793-5400; vertx.com.
