The KSG was Kel-Tec's first entry into the shotgun market, and it was clear from the beginning that they weren't creating just another sporting arm. This was designed from the ground up with self-defense in mind.

The shotgun's dual tubular magazines makes it appealing to law enforcement and 3-Gun shooters, where fast reloading is important. It has a three-position lever which dictate which tube can be loaded or drawn from when the gun is in action.
