For the second year in a row, IWI US, Inc., a subsidiary of Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) Ltd., has been named the 2015 Importer of the Year Award by the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW). The award was presented during the NASGW Expo & Annual Meeting in New Orleans, La.

The award recognizes the contribution made by IWI US to the successful business climate of NASGW's wholesaler members.

"We're excited to have won the NASGW 'Importer of the Year' award, two years in a row! I want to thank all of the employees back at IWI US and at IWI Israel, who worked hard every day this year, making this award possible. I'm proud of our team and I'm so happy that they get to be recognized for all they do," said Michael Kassnar, vice president of sales and marketing for IWI US.

IWI US is best known for importing award winning firearms like the Tavor SAR, which received the 2014 American Rifleman Golden Bullseye for "Rifle of the Year," as well as the Jericho pistol, the UZI PRO and the Galil ACE.
