Kahr Arms has a well deserved reputation for manufacturing top notch single-stack concealed carry semi-auto pistols that are reliable and have excellent triggers. However, not every customer is willing or able to pay for Kahr's premium-priced P Series pistols. To meet the customer demand for high quality pistols at an affordable price, the company has been steadily expanding its value-priced CT and CW line of pistols.

'At this year's SHOT show, Kahr announced its new CT40 (.40 S&W) and CT45 (.45 ACP) pistols, both of which are priced to sell with an MSRP of $449. At the NRA Annual Meetings, the new pistol set was rounded out with the addition of the new CT9, chambered in 9mm. This pistol will share the same features and price as its .40 and .45-caliber compatriots.
