NRA Gun of the Week: Smith & Wesson Model 329PD

by
posted on December 7, 2019
Since the 1908 introduction of its .44 Hand Ejector First Model, Smith & Wesson has perfected the craft of designing and building large-frame revolversspecifically N-frame revolvers. These large-frame revolvers have quite a claim to fame, such as the Model 29 carried by Clint Eastwood in the Hollywood blockbuster “Dirty Harry,” or Jerry Miculek’s Model 625, used to set a world speed-shooting record. Advance 100 years or more from the "First Model," and you''ll find the company manufactures an N-frame built of space-age Scandium alloy that weighs in at 25 ozs.—the Model 329PD. This Airweight wheelgun contains a titanium six-round cylinder chambered for .44 Mag., provides for adjustable sights, spare rubber stocks and is of the company’s classic double-action design. To learn more about the Smith & Wesson Model 329PD, watch this NRA Gun of the Week video hosted by American Rifleman’s Brian Sheetz.
