Inland Manufacturing, a gunmaker that made a splash last year with its replicas of World World II-era 1911 pistols and M1 Carbines, will be launching several new models in 2016.

M37 12-gauge Trench Gun
During World War II, American soldiers relied on 12-gauge “trench guns” for close-quarters combat and jungle warfare. One of the most highly acclaimed military pump-action shotguns in U.S. history was the Ithaca Model 37, which was based on the Browning Model 17. The new M37 12-ga. is a faithful reproduction of this trusted pump built exclusively for Inland Mfg. by Ithaca Gun Company. This shotgun features a 20" barrel, 3" chamber, military marking and heat shield with bayonet lug. MSRP: $1249

The M1 Jungle Carbine
The new Jungle version of Inland’s M1 Carbine takes a step away from being a purely historically accurate rifle in order to provide customers a unique set of desirable features. These include a 1944 M1 Type 2 barrel band, an adjustable rear sight, push button safety, round bolt, and low-wood walnut stocks.  The 16" barrel is fitted with a removable conical flash hider. A 30-round magazine catch is installed at the factory to allow the use of both 15 and 30-round magazines. MSRP: $1179

The M1 Scout Carbine
Although the M1 Carbine and its .30-cal. ammunition were designed over 75 years ago, this rugged semi-automatic rifle and cartridge combination are still a perfectly viable low recoil hunting, field and self-defense platform. The new Scout configuration brings the M1 into the new century with its matte black stock, threaded barrel, and tactical aluminum hand guard topped with a Picatinny rail for mounting red dot or extended eye relief optics. The 1/2-28 TPI threaded barrel can be fitted with a wide variety of AR-10 (.308-cal.) muzzle devices including muzzle breaks and sound suppressors. This rifle arrives with a conical flash hider installed and will accept 15- or 30-round magazines. MSRP: $1199

The M1 Advisor Pistol
This unusual rifle-action pistol is modeled after the popular modified M1 carbines carried by U.S. Military Advisors during the Vietnam Era. The compact, light-weight carbine was made even easier to carry by shortening the barrel and either cutting off the fixed shoulder stocks of standard issue carbines or removing the folding stocks of the Paratrooper models. The 12" barrel is fitted with a removable conical flash hider. Read the field test and review here. MSRP: $1199
