Springfield XD-S Golden Bullseye Presentation

When you build good products, you're going to get noticed—and few honors are as well recognized as the NRA Publications Golden Bullseye Awards. Springfield Armory took home American Rifleman's Pistol of the Year Honors at the 142nd NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits, for its innovative XD-S.

An addition to Springfield's popular Xtreme Duty (XD) line, the XD-S made its debut at SHOT Show 2012—and left as one of the show's most talked about new products. Born of a desire to give shooters a compact, easy-to-conceal .45, the XD-S features a slim, single-stack design that's only one-inch in width.
